INCA is a fire safety technology company, and we believe wildfire protection is about more than fighting the fire once it has started. Intelligent Fire Safety is our integrated approach, bringing together risk assessment, digital monitoring, vegetation management and physical protection. We call it the INCA WFS® concept, and it is built around four connected principles: Predict, Prevent, Prepare and Protect.
By understanding risk earlier, preparing before the fire arrives and making better use of available resources, we create better conditions to protect people, property, infrastructure and nature from wildfire.
The Challenge
The most extreme wildfires are becoming more frequent, intense and difficult to manage – threatening people, property, infrastructure and nature. Yet much of the traditional approach still focuses on fighting the fire once it has already started.
Even the biggest fires often start small and the earlier we identify the risk – even before a fire starts – the better prepared we can be. And when fire does break out, early detection gives us valuable time to act before it grows.
